Automated Trolling Motor Depth Control System
This project focuses on my senior design project, an automated lifting system for trolling motors. The system allows for both manual foot pedal control and automatic sensor-based adjustment using a waterproof ultrasonic sensor. It raises or lowers the trolling motor based on water depth, improving safety and convenience for anglers. The design integrates electrical, mechanical, and software components, showcasing a full systems-engineering approach to a real-world marine problem.
