1989 Astro Bass Boat Restoration

This personal project involved a full restoration of a 1989 Astro bass boat powered by a 150HP Mercury XR4. I completed fiberglass repairs, recarpeted the interior, rewired the boat’s electrical system, and performed buffing, polishing, and waxing to restore the hull finish. This project demonstrates practical marine repair skills, attention to detail, and hands-on craftsmanship with a focus on bringing old equipment back to life efficiently and professionally.
